During the last few months many upgrades, remodeling and clean up projects have taken place. CURRENT PROJECTS ROADS All of the existing roads are being regraded with modified stone. Several of the overgrown roads are undertaking a major facelift and some are now passable. Over the next week or two most roads will be completely regraded, widened or reopened. BEACH The beach has been completely redone and improvements are being made daily. The road to the beach will be completed over the next few weeks as well as additional beach area. A sandy area for sitting/playing is now available. Inner tubes for the water are now available at the office. A five dollar deposit with four being refunded when the tube is returned. NEW ROAD ADDED No longer will any traffic - other than emergency usage - pass thru the playground area. Beach access and tent area access has been re-routed. Bath House HEATING UPGRADE The bath house is in the process of having heat added for year round usage. Both the men's and women's area will be heated. The laundry area will have heat added in the near future to allow for year round laundry facilities. BATH HOUSE SHOWERS The Bath House will be getting a complete facelift over the next several months. Two new showers will be added (replacing the ones already there and adding one to each side). One shower in each side will be fully handicap accessible as will be one stall and sink on each side. This should all be completed by May 1, 2008. A second, unisex bathroom will be added that will also be fully handicap accessible as well as closer to the tenting area than the current bath house. NEXT PROJECT Electrical upgrade, underground electric and underground (4+ feet underground) water to accomodate year round campers. PLAYGROUND New items will be added to the playground including: sandbox, sand digger, tire course, rope and tire climb, and more.
